The 12th Annual Anthropology in Transit Graduate Student Conference at the University of California, Irvine invites submissions from graduate students across disciplines who work with and think about space and place.

Workshop: Dr. Ballestero's Ethnography Studio
"The Ethnography Studio brings together ethnographers from a broad array of disciplines and approaches–from arts to engineering, anthropology to education, computer science to sociology–who are experimenting with ways of understanding complex social phenomena, of small and large scales, while embracing the uncertainty and ambiguities that ethnographic research affords for creative thinking.
Course Expectations
Course expectations33% Participation. This course will be discussion-centric. Diligent digital attendance and full participation are essential. Everyone will be asked at some point in the term to briefly present a reading or set of readings at least once, and to set the frame for and open the discussion for that session.
