Göksal Çidem, a member of Trakya Platform took two photos during the European Big Jump event; the photo on the left is from Ergene River, and the one on the right is from Arda River in Greece. The distance between these two places where the photos were taken is about 1km, as Çidem notes in a newspaper article, and he adds: “we cannot participate in this event which has been organized since 2005… While people swim in clean water close to our borders, we are doomed to poisonous water.”
