As the caption suggests, we can learn from google maps and the reviewers how people think about and deal with quotidian pollution/catastrophes that unfold slowly rather than abruptly. By drawing attention to the online community here as well, and the seemingly ironic rating of the place, the artifact hints at the ways in which digital represenations are entangled with the material world.
